Southeast Indian Ridge : ウィキペディア英語版 | Southeast Indian Ridge
The Southeast Indian Ridge (SEIR) is a divergent tectonic plate boundary located along the seafloor of the southern Indian Ocean. It separates the Indo-Australian Plate to the north from the Antarctic Plate to the south.〔 Stow, D. A. V. (2006) ''Oceans : an illustrated reference'' Chicago : University of Chicago Press, ISBN 0-226-77664-6 - page 127 for map of Indian Ocean and ridges 〕 The SEIR extends from the Rodrigues Triple Point in the southern Indian Ocean, through the Southern Ocean south of the Australian continent, and on to the Macquarie Triple Junction in the southwest Pacific Ocean. The islands of Saint-Paul and Amsterdam are the above-water points of the Southeast Indian Ridge. The ridge lies north of the South Indian Basin. ==References==
